R.I.S.E. Communities

Students learn how to read in the classroom, but that skill is reinforced in all aspects of life.  By bringing together community partners with common goals, Arkansas Department of Education team members can maximize our efforts and expand our reach. As we advance the R.I.S.E. Arkansas initiative, we look for ways to create community collaborations. This outreach will grow as we move forward.

  • R.I.S.E. Spotlight - A monthly social media campaign to highlight organizations with a focus on reading in Arkansas.
  • R.I.S.E. Community Awards - A recognition program to bring awareness to the collaborations being made between schools, community members, and business partners.  (Launching Summer 2019)
