Research-Backed Readiness Model

Arkansas schools and districts are relying on a research-backed model for college and career readiness. The Naviance College, Career and Life Readiness (CCLR) Framework provides a blueprint to prepare middle and high school students for success after graduation. The model centers on six competencies that students in grades 6-12 must achieve to become college, career and life ready. The six competencies are:
  • Social Emotional Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Academic Skills
  • Career Knowledge
  • College Knowledge
  • Transition Skills
Naviance is a comprehensive platform for grades 6-12 that helps students develop these essential skills, while also meeting state DOE requirements.
