Charter Amendment Requests

To request a charter amendment, complete the Charter Amendment Request Form and submit it to the Charter Office in accordance with the dates below. Due Dates for Charter Amendment Requests

Arkansas Department of Education Rules Governing Public Charter Schools (4.02.3-4.02.4) establish the requirement of submitting amendment requests no later than 35 days prior to the authorizer meeting. Requests seeking amendments to current charters will be heard at the authorizer meetings in February and October of each year. Below are the dates by which amendment requests must be received:

February 18, 2020 January 14, 2020, by 4:00 p.m.
October 13, 2020 September 8, 2020, by 4:00 p.m.

All meetings will be held in the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education Auditorium, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas.

  • Tuesday, November 17, 2020
  • Tuesday-Wednesday, December 15-16, 2020 (Renewal Application Hearings)
