ADE Announces Cyber Security Course Pathway


The Arkansas Department of Education’s Office of Computer Science is pleased to announce that ADE is partnering with the Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative’s Virtual Arkansas division, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and the University of Central Arkansas at Conway to develop a three-year cyber security curriculum and course pathway that will be available to Arkansas public school students at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year.

Arkansas Students, Schools Receive $119,300 for Qualifying Scores on Advanced Placement Computer Science Exams


The Arkansas Department of Education is pleased to announce that $119,300 was awarded to 153 students and 20 schools under the Arkansas Advanced Placement Computer Science A Incentive Program.

Saracini Named New Assistant Commissioner of Educator Effectiveness, Licensure

Saracini will assume her new role January 2 after the departure of Dr. Suzanne Bailey.
