Asa Hutchinson today announced Arkansas’ participation in an innovative cybersecurity training partnership with the SANS Institute, the largest provider of cybersecurity training and certification for professionals in government and commercial institutions worldwide. In an effort to promote a safe school environment and provide continued leadership, support, and service to Arkansas public schools, the Arkansas Department of Education has named a school safety coordinator to assist districts with implementing school safety measures. ADE’s Doug Bradberry has assumed this new role.

Close to 600 high school students who are interested in becoming teachers will attend the event, which will begin in the Reynolds Performance Hall on the UCA campus.
