Ambassador Academy

February 29 and March 1 in Hot Springs, AR

The Ambassador Academy is a hands-on learning experience for teachers, curriculum coordinators, PLC leaders, and administrators to develop a broader understanding of the tools and services provided through the Office of Research & Technology. The spring Ambassador Academy will be held February 29–March 1, 2024 in Hot Springs, AR.

Academy training sessions include: Triand, LEA Insights, SmartData Dashboards, My School Info, ADE Data Center, Arkansas Digital Sandbox, Data Privacy & Security, and more!

Attendees who successfully complete the Academy will be provided with a certificate of completion for 10 hours and will be recognized on our website as a Research & Technology Ambassador. View the current list of Ambassadors.

Register via escWorks session #519033. Registration for the event is free; however, no-shows will be charged $25.

Location

The workshop will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

A courtesy block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Hot Springs at a rate of $111 per night. These rooms will be held on a first-come, first-served basis until February 19, 2024. Guests will need to make their reservations using the direct reservation link or by phone at 501-623-6600 (ask for Reservations and mention a block for Arkansas Department of Education, Code ADEWS24).

Schedule

Review the workshop agenda. Participants will have one hour and fifteen minutes to eat lunch on their own.

How to Prepare

Participants will need to bring a laptop to participate in the workshop. Be sure to have your State Active Directory (eSchool) username and password. Review this list and attempt to log in to each system prior to the event.
