Private Schools
These services are considered to be assistance to students and teachers and not to private schools.
While the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) provides funding to LEAs for entitlement services to students attending private schools who choose to accept funding and abide by the regulations of such funding, the ADE does not accredit or provide oversight of private schools. Questions regarding private schools should be directed to the Arkansas Nonpublic School Accrediting Association, Inc. (ANSAA) at http://www.ansaa.com or call (479) 246-0032. When a private school closes, student transcripts are not stored at ADE. A person should contact someone who was working at the private school for transcript information.
