On March 8, 2023, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed Act 237, known as the Arkansas LEARNS Act, into law. The Arkansas LEARNS Act is bold and comprehensive and will transform education in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) announced today that Arkansas has been awarded a Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five (PDG B-5) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families. The award will provide $14,751,000 over the next year to strengthen statewide coordination, expand access to high-quality early learning, and support families across the state.
