At its regular March meeting, the State Board of Education recognized Arkansas students for their national achievements and honored the Executive Director of the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission for his recent national accolades. The meeting highlighted the impact of Arkansas’ commitment to strong learning inside and outside the classroom, as well as meaningful community engagement.

State Board of Education members will visit Farmington Public Schools Thursday, March 19 at 9 a.m. at 230 South Grace Ln., Farmington, AR 72730.

The State Board of Education will visit Lafayette County Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. on March 17, followed by a visit to the Lafayette County High School at 12:30 p.m. and a work session at the 1 p.m. in the Lafayette County High School Gymnasium.
