Meeting the Needs of Local Communities in Early Childhood Education
Assistant Commissioner of Early Childhood Tonya Williams is excited to share information about how the LEARNS Act is supporting early childhood education across the state. Through the selection of local early childhood leads, selected organizations are developing and implementing comprehensive regional plans that support access to early childhood programs, identify gaps in services, foster local partnerships, and create alignment among providers and agencies in the community. Their focus is to ensure all children are prepared for kindergarten.
