NASA Speaker
Lambert serves as the inclusive innovation lead for NASA's Early Stage Innovations and Partnerships program. During her keynote speech at 11 a.m., Lambert, who is blind, will provide information about the eclipse's significance and the importance of inclusion for the blind and visually-impaired in STEM fields.
The event will be held at the Rialto Community Arts Center in Morrilton and will showcase a variety of activities designed to offer tactile tools and hands-on experiences for blind and visually-impaired students.
In addition to hosting eclipse activities, ESVI is dedicated to raising awareness about blindness and low vision. As part of this initiative, the community is actively seeking artwork created by blind and visually-impaired students to feature in an art exhibit. Contributions from individuals of all ages are welcome.
