Arkansas Exemplary Educators Network (AEEN)

The Arkansas Exemplary Educators Network (AEEN) was established in 2010 to serve as an advisory group to the commissioner regarding education issues. The network also assists school districts, educational organizations and affiliates through speaking engagements.

The statewide network is comprised of veteran and current Arkansas Teachers of the Year and Milken Educators Award recipients. These educators have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in education, as well as strong leadership skills. They have been recognized for leadership and excellence in the teaching profession and have volunteered to share their knowledge and expertise with other educators and groups across the state.

The network’s mission: “As teacher-leaders, we have set out to improve student achievement through policy, practice and ambassadorship. We judge the success of our efforts by their impact on students’ lives.”

Each educator’s profile includes contact information and areas of expertise. The goal of the profile directory is to serve as a resource for those engaged in educational policy and decision making in Arkansas.
