K-3 ATLAS Screener & K-2 Content Assessments
| ATLAS K–3 Assessment Overview | |
| The K–3 Assessment System is a core component of the Arkansas Teaching, Learning, and Assessment System (ATLAS). These assessments help teachers understand how students are learning and growing throughout the school year. | |
| Beginning-of-Year Screener (K–3) | During the first 30 days of school, students in grades K–3 (Literacy) and K–2 (Math) take a quick screener. This assessment provides early information about a child’s skills and identifies areas where additional support may be needed. |
| K–2 Interim and Summative Assessments | Interim Assessments (Mid-Year): These serve as checkpoints to show how students are progressing toward grade-level standards during the year. |
| Summative Assessments (End-of-Year): Administered at the end of the year, these measure a student’s final mastery of their grade-level standards. | |
The ATLAS Platform All assessments—from Kindergarten through High School—are delivered through the unified ATLAS platform. This streamlined system makes it easier for families and educators to access reporting and understand student performance.
The beginning of year math screener shall determine students who are at-risk in the following foundational math skills: (A) Number and Place Value; (B) Computation and Algebraic Reasoning.
