The Arkansas Department of Education, in collaboration with statewide stakeholders, has established a list of curriculum resources that align with the Arkansas Child Development and Early Learning Standards (ACDELS). Arkansas Better Chance programs must use an approved curriculum. Although the curriculum resources have met the criteria for use in Arkansas, the most successful curriculum is based on the interests and needs of the children. Teachers and administrators should expect to incorporate published curriculum materials for use with each unique group of children.
