Standards Progressions Documents
The Arkansas K-12 Science Standards progress in rigor and complexity from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Standards are three-dimensional, and involve Science and Engineering Practices (SEP), Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI), and Crosscutting Concepts (CCC). The documents below indicate how each dimension progresses by grade band, and can be used during planning to ensure instruction meets grade level expectations.
