Literacy Tutoring Grant Program

 

High Impact Tutoring

Recruits and trains tutors who are equipped to meet the academic needs of students in their geographic area. Find the approved list of tutors for the AR LTGP here

 

Provides a $1,500 (SY25-26) grant for supplemental literacy support to eligible students in grades K-3. AR Approved Literacy Tutoring Grant providers here, and detailed guidance for districts can be found here. All invoices must be submitted by September 30, 2026. Assessment data will be pulled from ATLAS.

 

Provides grants to public school districts and open enrollment charters to implement high-impact programs in schools. Approved HIT Tutoring providers can be found here

June 2026

June 30, 2026, is a critical Arkansas Literacy Tutoring Grant deadline. To remain active in the program beyond June 30 and continue receiving tutoring services during the summer for approved grantees, students must have at least one tutoring invoice submitted by June 30, 2026.

Families are encouraged to:

  • Schedule and complete tutoring sessions as soon as possible
  • Ensure invoices for completed tutoring sessions are submitted promptly
  • Monitor account activity and remaining balances within ClassWallet

 

Students who meet the June 30 activity requirement may continue receiving eligible tutoring services through the program closeout date of September 30, 2026.

Arkansas Department of Education Tutoring Vendor Provider Application

Purpose: This form intends to gather information on tutoring providers, evidence-based digital literacy applications, and software programs for inclusion on a vetted tutoring list for Arkansas's High-Impact Pilot Program and Literacy Tutoring Grant Program. Please see here for an overview of the two programs. The Arkansas Department of Education will review the following information, and if the provider meets the program's requirements, the vendor will be added to Arkansas's vetted tutoring provider list. Review of applications occurs quarterly.
