The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is providing available funding to school districts to directly support the implementation of Arkansas LEARNS through professional learning communities. DESE released a Request for Qualifications to identify vendors to provide educational professional development services to assist districts in Arkansas.

The goal is to establish professional learning communities focused on the implementation of LEARNS, specifically in the following areas:

•   Foundational Literacy/Science of Reading
•   Strengthening Instructional Quality
•   Strengthening Career Pathways
•   Multi-tiered Systems of Support

Interested school districts should complete the online grant application by January 31, 2025.
