R.I.S.E. Community Award
Since the R.I.S.E. Arkansas initiative was launched in 2017, many Arkansas communities have made great strides in their reading campaigns. We are boosting that level of commitment with the R.I.S.E. Community Award. The award acknowledges communities that are demonstrating that stronger readers make better citizens, and that literacy skills are vital for success in school and in life.
The Goal:
To support the R.I.S.E. Goals of creating community collaboration and building a culture of reading by capitalizing on available resources.
The Award:
The R.I.S.E. Community Award is designed to acknowledge communities that have established strong partnerships with local schools and/or districts to support literacy for all members of the community.
