AWARE : Conferences

The premier conference on school mental health hosted by The National Center for School Mental Health at the University of Maryland. This annual conference brings together local, state, national, and international experts to advance knowledge and skills related to school mental health practice, research, training and policy.  Conference attendees include educators, administrators, student instructional support personnel, health and mental health practitioners, family members, youth, policymakers, researchers, advocates, child-serving agency and organization staff.


Two comprehensive conferences to choose from on how to be a Trauma Informed School. These sessions are designed for educators, school administrators, school personnel, mental health professionals, and community partners. This conference will give you the understanding, knowledge, and tools you need to successfully create a trauma-informed learning environment, whether it is in a single classroom, a whole school, or an entire district.
