Students are referred to this state operated program by public school districts. The program is responsible for the implementation of all special education services as written in the Individualized Education program (IEP) and responsible for procedural safeguards and the provision of Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).  ASBVI’s provision of special education services is monitored by the state’s special education monitoring team.
