DESE is committed to supporting Arkansas schools in finding the best educators for every classroom. That's why this year we are providing each district free access to the Statewide Educator Job Board and additional recruitment tools through Nimble.

Individual public schools can opt into Nimble's matching service, Nimble Connect. Each week through this service, you'll receive a curated shortlist of qualified teachers whose job search preferences are a match with your school.

Principals across Arkansas can sign up with our technology provider, Nimble, to begin receiving matches. Upon sign up, you'll receive more information about what to expect. The matching service will begin in January alongside the launch of the job board.

Costs

All services are fully covered by DESE for calendar year 2026, so districts can opt in for free on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope this opportunity will allow Arkansas schools to pilot new recruitment and hiring tools that equip you to tackle teacher shortage challenges!

Beginning in 2027, districts who have seen a positive impact from these products and choose to continue using Connect and Hire will be responsible for a portion of subscription fees (255 of subscription costs in 2027, 50% of costs in 2028, and 100% of costs beginning 2029).
