Arkansas Educator Competencies and Standards
The educator competency documents describe what an educator should know and be able to do in a particular licensure area. For example, the elementary K-6 competencies outline the knowledge and skills for teaching kindergarten through grade 6 students.
Additional specialty sets of competencies are listed below. These are referenced in the protocols for program approval.

Matrix templates for course alignment must be included when submitting revisions or new program proposals.
