Succeed Scholarship

The Succeed Scholarship Program, Ark. Code Ann. § 6-41-901 et seq. provides a scholarship to an eligible private school for students in foster care living in a group home or facility,  students with disabilities in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 20 U.S.C. §1400 et seq, and students who are children of a member of the uniformed services. 

Application Submission Dates

SB294, Governor Sanders’ LEARNS Act, became law on March 8, 2023. The LEARNS Act created an Education Freedom Accounts (“EFA”) Program and provided that all students currently receiving a Succeed Scholarship would automatically transition into the EFA Program. To continue in the Program and continue to receive funds for the 2023-2024 school year, you must complete an annual student certifications. We will accept annual student certifications from March 14, 2023, through April 2, 2023.

Annual student certifications should be submitted through the Succeed Scholarship Online Application System.  You will be able to access the Succeed Scholarship Online Application System beginning March 14,at 9:00 a.m. in order to create a parent account, complete the annual student certification application and submit.  Please note that annual student certifications will not be accepted by any means prior to March 14, at 9:00 a.m.  If you are unable to access the Online Application System, please contact Rhonda Saunders at Rhonda.saunders@ade.arkansas.gov or 501-682-4221.
