Arkansas Co-Teaching and Service Delivery Models

Co-Teaching with Strategic Instruction Model Project

The University of Central Arkansas Mashburn Center for Learning (UCA MCL) Co-Teaching with the Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) Project is a multi-year initiative that supports selected Arkansas elementary and secondary public schools, including open-enrollment charter schools. This Project helps schools strengthen systems and practices that ensure meaningful access, engagement, and participation in grade-level learning for all students.

The Co-Teaching with SIM Project emphasizes shared leadership, evidence-based practices, and collaborative planning, instruction, assessment, and decision-making as key components of schoolwide improvement.
