Online Teaching Endorsement
The Online Teaching Endorsement Assessment is an evidence-based performance assessment designed for candidates seeking an endorsement to add to the Arkansas educator license. The Online Teaching Endorsement is an exception area endorsement and requires an approved program of study along with this assessment.
Endorsement Requirements
- Completion of an approved Online Teaching Program of Study with one of the participating EPPs
- Passing Score on the Arkansas Online Teaching Assessment
Assessment Overview
The Arkansas Online Teaching Assessment consists of four Required topics:
1. Course Preparation
2. Course Development
3. Communicating with Stakeholders
4. Syllabus Submission
Assessment Timeline and Fees
- Candidates have 6 weeks to complete the assessment upon registration
- Full assessment fee: $100
- Topic retake fee: $25 per topic
- One attempt is allowed per payment
- Register and pay online at ar.gov/assessments
