This engagement leads students toward artistic literacy and helps to fully prepare them for college, careers, and civic engagement. The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, by providing rigorous academic standards in the arts, ongoing training and support for arts educators, and opportunities for collaboration with community artists and arts organizations, strives to ensure that every student in Arkansas has access to a well-rounded education that includes excellent and equitable high-quality arts learning experiences.
